Description
The portable digital ultrasonic flowmeter P117 acts as a “walk-around audit and temporary tie-in” tool for Building Management Systems (BMS). Maintenance teams clamp it onto chilled or hot-water lines and stream real-time flow, totals and alarm codes to the BMS gateway via RS485/Modbus.
During commissioning it supplies accurate baseline data to tune valve positions, pump speeds and energy models without shutting down the system.
When anomalies occur the same meter is carried to the spot for rapid verification, helping the BMS pinpoint drift or leaks and optimize energy performance.
